Biography
Pauline Reitzer is a PhD researcher in Sociology at the University of Vienna and a junior researcher in the DigiTrans research group at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna. In her doctoral project, she investigates the integration of communicative AI systems in public service media newsrooms. She examines the sociotechnical processes through which AI reshapes knowledge production and the wider consequences for democratic discourse, drawing on her background in social sciences, digital humanities, information systems, and data journalism.
