Biography
Diego A. Mazorra-Correa is a Ph.D. student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research examines the intersections of political communication, media systems, polarization, and democratic citizenship, with a particular focus on how media environments shape public opinion and political behavior in Latin America and the United States. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he earned degrees from Universidad Externado de Colombia and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he also worked as a professor and academic coordinator. His current work explores media trust, political discussion, digital platforms, and the role of communication in contemporary democracies.
