Biography
Ivan Gallegos is a PhD candidate in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University, Australia. He also served as a lecturer in the Department of Communication Studies at Davao del Norte State College in the Philippines. His research critically examines the intersections of media, infrastructure, and futurity, with a particular interest in how emerging technologies shape the making of collective futures in the Global South.
