Chenjie Zheng is a PhD student in Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research focuses on gender, media, and communication, with particular attention to reproductive politics, family dynamics, and feminist media practices. She also explores FemTech and AI-driven health technologies, examining how digital tools mediate women’s bodies and shape public understandings of reproductive health. Drawing on interdisciplinary methods, Chenjie connects feminist theory, media studies, and technology studies, while also engaging in film analysis and production as both scholarly inquiry and creative practice.
