Pascal Schneiders

Pascal is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Communication at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. His research interests include the digital transformation of the knowledge order, how it affects audiences’ information behavior, and what this means for media and platform governance. His PhD research conceptually and empirically dealt with the power-driven platformization of the news ecosystem and its implications for news media’s autonomy, audiences’ news understanding and opinion formation, public spheres’ social cohesion, and platform governance.
