Biography
Marloes Geboers is Assistant Professor Digital Methods for AI Platforms at the University of Amsterdam (ILLC and Media Studies department). Her research foregrounds the role of social media’s communicative design and how it shapes the undermining of journalistic authority. More specifically, Marloes develops platform-attuned methods for the study of social media and AI platforms. She has a background in journalism and political science.
