Biography

Hanaa Dany is an information security analyst based in Casablanca, Morocco, with extensive experience in information assurance, risk assessments, and digital safety education. She holds CompTIA Security+ and ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) credentials and has served as a Teaching Assistant for cybersecurity professional learning programs. Currently, she serves as the Network Alumni Lead and a Research Fellow with Digispace Africa, where she conducts policy analysis on AI-enabled abuse. Her research relies on OSINT and field research to better represent the community she works with. Her scope of research is focused on digital rights, digital safety and literacy, and youth accessibility and is further supported by her work as a researcher and chapter author for the African Digital Rights Network (ADRN) and her previous fellowship with SMEX.
