Biography
I am a multilingual information and communication practitioner working at the intersection of journalism, civic technology, and democratic resilience in West Africa. My work focuses on how information is produced, translated, and trusted across multilingual and digital ecosystems, and how this shapes transparency and citizen engagement.
I have professional experience in information integrity and media development, including work with Code for Africa, program coordination for a regional startup accelerator funded by GIZ, and communication and digital engagement roles in media and cultural environments.
Alongside my practice, I conduct applied research on civic technology and digital democracy. As a Junior Research Fellow with the European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights, I studied how multilingual civic-tech platforms influence transparency and citizen trust in West Africa.
My interests include information integrity, civic technology, AI and journalism, multilingual communication, and community-centered approaches to strengthening public trust in information ecosystems. I am particularly interested in bridging practice and research to support more inclusive and resilient democratic information environments.
